For the next instalment of our Mama Magpie we speak to Warrior Woman and all around badmamajama Natalie Lee of blog Style me Sunday
How would you describe your relationship with fashion ?
For me, fashion isn’t something to hide behind. It’s not a mask nor my armour it’s an extension of my personality. It’s shows off my creative side, my fun side, my silly side and yes sometimes my tired side (the school run springs to mind, hello Uggs!). Look at your clothes differently. Experiment, wear things you never thought you would. Try new combinations, you don’t always have to be safe. After all, they are just clothes. Dressing up when you’re an adult can still be fun yet functional. I think what I’m trying to say is don’t be scared of fashion
I'm an avid Pinner, I get so much style inspiration from there
What is the best style advice your mum has ever given you ?
Describe your jewellery style in 5 words
Which Magpie on the Run pieces are you currently coveting and how would you style them?
We love your ‘Warrior Women’ campaign to inspire motivate and empower women. Who is in your personal warrior women tribe and why ?
I have a lovely network of school mums around me, we all help each other with childcare and logistical issues when needed. It really is a life-saver sometimes. I also have a group of friends I went to school with, we don’t see each other much but we try and go on holiday every year with the kids together and it’s always like we’ve never been apart.
Describe your ideal Mother’s Day ?
A relaxing day by the pool, reading a magazine, in the heat, whilst the kids splash about in the pool. They can with swim now so I can relax a little which is bliss. And if thats a bit much to ask then a lovely meal out with the hole family.
